China Babycare has integrated the patented Parx Plastics technology into one of their successful product lines for babies and toddlers: Play mats. These colourful and soft cushioning play mats are made from cross-linked polyethylene foam (XPE foam) and integrated with the patented Parx Plastics technology these products are now with the utmost hygienic properties giving birth to Antibacterial XPE Foam.
Independent tests performed by a SGS laboratory with a CNAS and CMA accreditation show an utmost performance protecting the material against E.Coli proliferation with a Log 6 (>99,9999%) effectiveness and against Staph. aureus with a Log 5.3 (>99,999%) effectiveness. Providing a practically sterile surface after just 24 hours without using harmful chemicals and without any migrating antimicrobial particles.
